We are currently looking for a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging learning experiences for children aged 1–3 years (Playgroup). The successful candidate will prepare and conduct age-appropriate activities, support children's overall development, and create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

In addition, the teacher will support the After School Care programme by assisting with homework, educational activities, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and other enrichment activities for children aged 4–9 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and conduct engaging learning activities for children aged 1–3 years (Playgroup).
• Develop weekly lesson plans and prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning through play.
• Support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's learning and developmental progress.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, hygiene, and supervision of children at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Support the After School Care programme by assisting with homework, educational activities, arts and crafts, storytelling, music and movement, and indoor and outdoor games for children aged 4–9 years.
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, creativity, and independence among children.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the management team to deliver high-quality learning programmes.
• Follow the centre's policies, child safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through professional communication.

Qualifications & Skills Essential

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Nursery Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Caring, patient, responsible, energetic, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Jolly Phonics and/or Abacus will be an added advantage.
• First Aid or CPR certification is a plus.
• Experience with play-based learning and early childhood education.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Weekly Off:

• Saturday & Sunday
• UAE Public Holidays

Location:

• Electra Street, Abu Dhabi
