Required Degree: MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Have the knowledge and ability to teach about the classification, causes, and treatment of psychological disorders across the lifespan. Prior experience with teaching in Psychopathology is preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

• Teach Psych 342: Psychopathology

• Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring

• Topics include: diagnostic criteria, theoretical models, empirical findings, and ethical considerations related to mental health

• Prepare students to think critically about psychopathology in both clinical and cultural contexts, with sensitivity to faith-informed understandings of human behavior and suffering

• Assist students with their volunteer experiences in a mental health setting
