Required Degree: MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

• Experience in applying or conducting research on the relationship between psychology, religion, and spirituality
• The selected candidate will show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring

Duties/Expectations:

• Teach Psych 354: Psychology of Religion
• Have the knowledge and ability to teach principles related to the psychological study of religion and spirituality. Topics include the history and foundations of religion and psychology, the development of individual religiosity and spirituality, and religious experience and practice in individuals and communities
• Candidates should prepare students to evaluate research literature on the relationship between psychology, religion, and spirituality

This course will be taught as an in-person class in Fall Semester 2026 on T/Th 12:30PM-1:45PM.
