Position Summary:

The Treasury Associate supports daily treasury operations by assisting with cash management, banking activities, payment processing, and financial recordkeeping. This role helps ensure accurate and timely execution of financial transactions while supporting liquidity management, supplier payments, and internal financial controls. The Treasury Associate works closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and banking partners to maintain efficient treasury operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily cash management activities, including monitoring operating (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) cash flows.
  • Support daily banking transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and international supplier payments.
  • Monitor bank account activity and assist with cash positioning and liquidity reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain treasury documentation and transaction records.
  • Maintain bank portal access, user permissions, and digital signature records.
  • Assist with banking system administration and user access requests.
  • Support account maintenance activities and banking documentation updates.
  • Coordinate with banking partners regarding routine treasury activities.
  • Gather bank statements, transaction confirmations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate treasury records in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Assist with treasury reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
  • Support compliance with company financial policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and other departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Respond to internal requests regarding payment status and treasury documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance treasury processes and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Participate in required meetings and training.
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in treasury, accounting, banking, finance, or accounts payable within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise financial software.
  • Experience working with banking platforms and electronic payment systems.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of treasury, finance, accounting, and cash management principles.
  • Understanding of financial systems and ERP applications.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, electronic payment processing, and financial controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in a combination of office, manufacturing, and customer-site environments.
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
