Job Title: Admin cum Designer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin cum Designer to support our administrative operations and contribute to design-related tasks within our team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of Quantity Surveying (QS), cost estimation, quotations, and invoicing. This role also involves preparing presentations, handling client communications, and assisting with design documentation. Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities - Administrative & Client Coordination
- Handle client emails, inquiries, and follow-ups in a professional manner.
- Maintain records of project documents, quotations, invoices, and purchase files.
- Coordinate internally between design, production, and sales teams.
- Assist in preparing and organizing presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
Design & QS Support
- Assist in preparing design layouts, drawings, and presentations (basic design knowledge preferred).
- Support QS activities such as taking measurements, quantity take-offs, and preparing BOQs.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and invoices accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material details, pricing, and samples if required.
Software & Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic design software knowledge (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to create professional presentations for client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in an administrative, QS, or design support role.
- Experience in a furniture manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
