Job Purpose
To provide administrative support for yard and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, vendor coordination, and smooth internal communication. The role is pivotal in maintaining operational discipline, audit readiness, and stakeholder alignment.
Your Responsibilities Would Be:
Documentation & Compliance

Compliance Awareness: Understanding of audit protocols and statutory filing requirements.

MIS Reporting: Preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports on yard status, manpower, and cost utilization.

Ensure timely filing of statutory and operational reports (MIS, GRN, gate pass, etc.)

Support audit preparedness by organizing and validating compliance records
Vendor & Resource Coordination

Track service schedules for third-party vendors (security, housekeeping, maintenance)

Maintain attendance, shift rosters, and overtime records for yard personnel

Coordinate with HR and finance for manpower billing and vendor payments
Communication & Liaison

Share daily yard status reports with customer teams and internal stakeholders

Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing MOMs, and following up on action items
Administrative Control

Monitor office supplies, PPE inventory, and yard consumables

Ensure upkeep of administrative infrastructure (IT systems, printers, stationery)

Support P&L tracking by maintaining cost records and budget utilization reports
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent
Experience:
3–5 years in admin roles within logistics, warehousing, or automotive
Technical Skills:
MS Office, ERP systems, documentation protocols
Soft Skills:
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive communicator
Other:
Familiarity with export documentation and warehouse workflows preferred
