Job Summary:
The Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing the new building project for the retail textile showroom and managing all administrative operations related to the showroom setup and ongoing functions. The role requires strong coordination, documentation, vendor management, and operational supervision skills.
Key Responsibilities:
A. New Building Project Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and consultants for project execution.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Follow up on approvals, licenses, and government compliances.
- Track project expenses and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and vendor payments.
- Prepare regular project progress reports for management.
B. Showroom Setup & Administration
- Oversee showroom interior setup, fixtures, furniture, and utilities.
- Coordinate installation of billing systems, CCTV, IT infrastructure, and security systems.
- Manage vendor contracts for housekeeping, security, maintenance, etc.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, trade licenses, GST, and other statutory requirements.
C. General Administration
- Supervise daily administrative activities of the showroom.
- Maintain documentation, contracts, and official records.
- Manage facility maintenance and utility services.
- Handle insurance, renewals, and statutory filings.
- Support management with reporting, MIS, and operational coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in administration, preferably in retail or construction projects.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of building approvals and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
Salary & Work Details
- Pay Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Work Hours: 10:00 AM to showroom closing
- Work Place: Flexible – Must be willing to travel to project sites anytime and anywhere as required
- Salary Date: 5th of every month
