Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Prepare and process purchase orders according to project requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.

Maintain accurate records of materials, vendor lists, price comparisons, and purchase logs.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and warehouse teams to understand material requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and follow up on shortages.

Compare vendor quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.

Ensure all purchased materials meet required quality standards and project specifications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.

Track and resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, or damaged material issues.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and budget guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in construction procurement.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and market rates.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
