Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

This position provides complex administrative services in support of Facility Operations for the Enforcement, Apprehensions, and Investigations (EAI) Division and as such, requires an extraordinarily high level of professionalism, self-motivation, and self-discipline. Services include a variety of administrative and clerical support duties which are performed solely by this position, such as the maintenance and retrieval of sensitive information for use in investigative processes, safekeeping of NCIC and related reports, and the development, data entry, and management of various statistical tracking databases to include serious events, contraband and PREA related incidents. Duties also involve clerical support to the facility investigative staff, coordination of intelligence tracking reports, maintenance of investigation files and individual files on residents and employees as required. Incumbent also serves as primary contact for facility EAI issues, screening and referring calls as necessary, but providing detailed responses to information requests. Duties include communicating inter-facility with department heads and supervisors as well as inter-agency with other facility EAI units and Central Office to accomplish various tasks. Routinely communicates with outside criminal justice and law enforcement agencies to manage information and coordinate related activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.
  • Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Licensing & Certification

  • Valid Driver’s License
