Position Summary
The Department of Neurology is seeking an Administrative Specialist/Receptionist intern. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in office administration. The successful candidate will be supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer emails
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
- Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences
Prior office or customer service experience
