ADMIN TRAINEE

- Working Hours: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday - Friday)
About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Admin Trainee to join our growing team at Scaleup Connect. As an Admin Trainee, you will support our administrative operations, learn core business processes, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work under the guidance of senior administrators and contribute to the smooth functioning of our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain office records, documents, and databases
- Support meeting coordination and preparation (scheduling, room setup)
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors
- Support travel and expense tracking
- Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoice processing and expense documentation
- Coordinate office events and team activities
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Learn and implement company policies and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous administrative or clerical experience (even internship experience counts)
- Familiarity with office management software or ATS systems
- Experience with Google Workspace or similar collaboration tools
- Knowledge of Pakistani business practices and protocols
- Basic data analysis or spreadsheet skills
- Experience with event coordination
- Bilingual abilities (Urdu/English) is a plus
- Customer service experience
