Administrative Affairs Specialist (Food Engineer)

We are looking for Food Engineer to take part in Şişecam Headquarters – in Tuzla / Istanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food safety and quality management (preferably within corporate or industrial catering environments).
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) consistent with international audit, reporting, and documentation standards.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and IFS systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI, SharePoint, or other digital audit tools is an advantage.
  • No restriction on domestic or international travel.
  • Strong team player with effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.




Job Description



  • Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS) across all Şişecam facilities.
  • Conduct domestic and international field inspections on a regular basis, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations, Şişecam internal standards, and international requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of contracted catering service providers, analyze deviations, and manage improvement plans.
  • Prepare analytical reports that summarize audit findings, corrective and preventive actions, and performance indicators for management review.
  • Design and deliver awareness programs to strengthen food safety culture and knowledge company-wide.
  • Collaborate closely with Administrative Affairs and Security functions as well as on-site and plant teams to ensure food safety practices are executed at the highest level.
  • Actively contribute to supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives related to food safety and quality, fostering data-driven analysis and reporting systems.
  • Uphold and promote a corporate culture of traceability, transparency, and continuous improvement within all food operations.
