COUNTYWIDE PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITY
Nevada County Behavioral Health is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Administrative Analyst II to assist with various critical initiative. Our ideal candidate is independent with initiative, and has strong interpersonal and leadership skills. We seek someone who will confidently provide strategic insights and recommendations, have analytical Excel and writing skills, and be able to support key projects, assisting in moving them forward with minimal direction.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Analyst II is a journey-level position where individuals operate with less direct supervision providing technical assistance with the same types of assistance and analysis. The Analyst II has supervisory responsibilities and is expected to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities associated with supervision of team members.

Health InsuranceThe County sponsored plan is the PERS Gold PPO, but you can also choose plans from providers such as Anthem, Blue Shield, and PORAC (if you are a member) to suit your needs.

Nevada County employees can opt to receive dental and vision insurance without opting for health insurance coverage as well. This will give employees more flexibility to match their choice of insurance plans to their specific needs. Ameritas Dental is the dental provider offered through Nevada County and Ameritas VSP Vision Care is our vision care provider.
RetirementThe County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
