Part-Time Personal / Administrative Assistant (Independent Contractor)

I’m seeking a highly organized, professional, and dependable Personal / Administrative Assistant to support a mix of personal, nonprofit, and business-related work. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position with flexible hours and a wide range of responsibilities.

This role requires someone who can juggle multiple priorities, stay ahead of details, and handle sensitive information with care. You’ll be supporting work that spans multiple organizations and communities, so confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Run errands and handle time-sensitive tasks
  • Manage spreadsheets, documents, and trackers
  • Assist with email organization and correspondence
  • Support social media scheduling and light content coordination
  • Assist with nonprofit administrative needs
  • Support business operations and personal task management
  • Track deadlines, follow-ups, and ongoing projects

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, email platforms, and social media
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to adapt quickly as priorities shift
  • Strong discretion and confidentiality required
  • Comfortable working across multiple organizations and communities

Position Details

  • Part-time
  • Independent contractor (1099)
  • Flexible schedule (hours may vary week to week)
  • Some in-person errands/tasks required (local candidates preferred)
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience (see below)

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
