Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and help keep our office running efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role would include work with both criminal and civil cases. This is a full-time county position with benefits.

Duties

  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • File documents with courts and maintain accurate case files.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track strict deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, victims, law enforcement, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and answering phones.
  • Maintain office organization through effective time management and prioritization of tasks.

Skills

  • Strong computer literacy with experience in data entry and filing systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Previous experience in office management or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Previous legal experience is a plus.
