Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is an excellent career opportunity for the right individual that desires to make an impact in a privately held, growing company. At MCC, we believe our success stems from each and every Team Member.

Reporting to our Vice Presidents, the successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating and executing office administration, project coordination, and other related administrative assignments. They will also be responsible for promoting the professional image of the company as our front desk representative. The ideal candidate can work independently and efficiently and is a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The following are general responsibilities for the position:

Responsibilities:

· Assist company managers, leaders, and Superintendents with administrative needs like printing documents, laminating documents, and preparing jobsite binders

· File company documents electronically while keeping the company filing system organized and maintained

· Maintain office to ensure all areas are neat and organized

· Monitor stock levels and order office supplies

· Process newly hired Team Members and complete necessary paperwork

· Answer main office phone system, transfer calls, and relay voicemail messages

· Data entry, upkeep, formatting, and tracking for company documents

· Coordinate daily with Field Leadership regarding time tracking of crews to prepare for payroll exports

· Assist on coordination with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable Administrators on weekly document workflow

· Run errands, order meals, coordinate meeting set-ups

· Assist with special case projects, errands, researching, and organizing

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

· The ability to work independently and efficiently, with little direction, must be a self-starter

· A commitment to punctuality, including a prompt 8:00 a.m. start, is essential

· Proactive planning and organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to multi-task with attention to detail

· Professional appearance with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Demonstrate excellent computer technical skills

· Ability to work well and assimilate in a team environment

· Motivation to learn and develop

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Must have valid driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits Include:

  • Compensation – $23 to $28 per hour (DOE)
  • 30-40 hours per week
