Administrative Assistant to the Director of Campus Operations

Position Overview
The Christian School at Castle Hills is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven Administrative Assistant to the Director of Campus Operations (DCO). This role provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of campus operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a heart for serving within a Christ-centered school environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Affirm and support the mission of the school, including agreement with the Castle Hills Statement of Faith and Foundations Guidelines
- Manage incoming emails and phone calls; take messages and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule meetings, events, and maintain school operations calendars
- Prepare reports, memos, correspondence, and other documents
- Facilitate communication between staff regarding events and facility requests
- Assist with planning and coordinating school events and activities
- Maintain the DCO’s schedule, appointments, and meeting logistics
- Coordinate meetings with maintenance staff and other key personnel
- Support campus safety and security operations, including keycard access and camera systems
- Maintain school vehicle records and manage staff vehicle usage requests
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technology systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to communicate clearly, including speaking and listening on the telephone

Pay: $25,000.00 - $34,000.00 per year
