Administrative Assistant

Job Title:

Part-Time Assistant (Customer Service + Social Media + Booking)

Location:

Champaign, IL (On-site to start, remote after training)

Pay:

$15/hour + performance bonuses

Schedule:

Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

(9 hours per week – must be consistent)

About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time assistant to help manage customer communication, bookings, and social media for our businesses.

This includes:

  • Moving services
  • Event space (Vibez Studio)
  • Party rentals

This role is focused on responding to customers, following up with leads, and helping turn inquiries into bookings.

Work Setup:

First 2 weeks: On-site (training and learning systems)

After training: Remote work available (must stay responsive and consistent)

Responsibilities:

Customer Communication (Main Focus)

  • Respond to messages (text, Facebook, etc.)
  • Answer basic questions
  • Send quotes using our pricing
  • Help customers book services

Follow-Ups

  • Reach out to people who haven’t booked yet
  • Follow up with past leadsExample: “Hey, just checking in—did you still need help with your move?”

Social Media (Marketing)

  • Post on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Repost content if needed
  • Reply to comments and messages
  • Message people who engage with posts

Booking & Organization

  • Help track bookings
  • Confirm appointments
  • Keep customer info organized

What This Job Really Is:

This is a communication and marketing role.

Your job is to:

  • Stay on top of messages
  • Follow up with leads
  • Help bring in bookings

If things are slow, you should:

  • Follow up with leads
  • Engage with people online
  • Post content

There is always something to do.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and on time
  • Comfortable using social media
  • Able to respond quickly
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Customer service experience
  • Social media experience
  • Sales experience
