Social Media Content Creator Intern

We are a faith-based lifestyle and wellness blog dedicated to the woman who doesn’t follow culture—she follows Christ. Inspired by 1 Peter 2:9, we celebrate the beauty in being "peculiar" and chosen. We provide a space for Christian women to find online community, embrace their unique identity, and pursue wellness through a faith-based lens.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, faith-filled intern to help grow our online presence. You will work closely with the founder to turn blog themes—like holistic wellness, biblical identity, and intentional living—into engaging social media content.

Hours: 10 hours per month (flexible on when hours are worked)

Pay: $100/month

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Design visually aesthetic graphics and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) that align with our brand voice.
• Platform Management: Schedule and post content to Instagram and Facebook, ensuring a consistent presence.
• Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster a supportive community.
• Strategy & Growth: Brainstorm fresh content ideas and research trending topics in the Christian wellness space.
• Future Planning: Assist in the potential launch and strategy for a Peculiar on Purpose TikTok channel.

Qualifications

• A deep understanding of and passion for the Peculiar on Purpose mission.
• Proficiency in Canva for graphic design; video editing apps like CapCut, Edits, etc.; and pairing social media content with relevant/appropriate audio and visuals from sites like pexels.com.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed) and Facebook.
• Ability to write encouraging, relatable captions that reflect a faith-based worldview.
• Able to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines.
