Administrative Assistant – Furniture Manufacturing

Location: Dubai, Al Qusais Industrial


Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our furniture manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a joinery workshop or furniture factory environment and be familiar with production workflows, documentation, and coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the production and management teams
  • Coordinate with the joinery workshop and factory staff to track job progress and deadlines
  • Prepare and manage quotations, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Maintain records of materials, inventory, and supplier details
  • Handle client communications, inquiries, and follow-ups
  • Assist in scheduling production activities and deliveries
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital
  • Ensure smooth communication between the production and design department

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Proven experience in a joinery workshop or furniture manufacturing company
  • Basic understanding of furniture production processes and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of technical drawings or production documentation
