Administrative Assistant

North Star Design, LLC is seeking a part time or full time engineering administrative assistant. We are a small multi-disciplined civil engineering firm specializing in land development and project management which seeks candidates to be part of our growing team. Responsibilities includes:

  • Draft correspondence and reports such as memorandums, letters, proposals, engineering reports, marketing material and emails.
  • Assist team with submission to municipalities and various agencies.
  • Answer phone calls and provide communication with clients and staff on a daily basis.
  • Manage general office operations such as office equipment and supplies and assist with the efficiency and productivity of daily tasks.
  • Assist with standardizing office procedures and templates – (i.e. proposal templates, master calendars, master contact lists, etc).
  • Manage client databases/spreadsheets.
  • Assist with general human resource needs (i.e. health insurance, professional licensing, etc)
  • Manage social media pages, job listings for potential candidates and website updates.
  • Assist with the company branding and strategic marketing via social media.
  • Assist with general marketing items such as holiday gift orders, office marketing items, etc.
  • Schedule inter-office meetings and outside-of-office social events

Qualifications:

  • Candidates with administrative assistant experience are preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills inclusive of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Self-starter and motivated individual who is attentive to detail and quality.
  • Outgoing and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can address all situations in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with the willingness to be flexible and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and provide self-direction.
  • Creative mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
