· Springfield Elks Lodge is seeking a highly organized, self-starting and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and demonstrated proficiency with various computer applications as well as the ability to work autonomously. This role involves handling all facets of a business office and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth daily operations, including bookkeeping, data entry, payroll and membership record maintenance. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and professionalism are highly valued.
· Responsibilities
· Manage customer service activities with professional etiquette and professional demeanor
· Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
· Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and other office management software
· Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring excellent service standards
· Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies, managing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, postal services and banking activities which includes daily cash preparation and reconciliation, weekly depositories and monthly statement reconciliation
· Support organization staff as requested
· Must always maintain confidentiality
· Qualifications
· Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or related roles
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and
· Strong computer literacy and data entry skills with attention to detail required
· Proficiency with QuickBooks and bookkeeping is required
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle incoming phone calls and/or inquiries professionally and maintain proper phone etiquette is essential.
· Previous experience in customer service or support roles is required
· Office management experience including filing, proofreading and document management
· Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
