Administrative Assistant

This temporary Administrative Assistant role offers $24-$28 per hour, Monday-Friday during standard business hours, in Boston. The position is with a global management consulting and technology firm and follows a hybrid schedule (three days onsite), with an expectation of increased onsite presence during initial training. The assignment runs through at least March 2027, with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs. Interviews and start are targeted ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-volume administrative support, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and email correspondence
  • Schedule and manage meetings across multiple time zones
  • Prepare domestic and international travel logistics (itineraries, visas, accommodations)
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, events, catering, and facilities
  • Prepare, organize, and archive documents for proposals and presentations
  • Support multiple stakeholders with shifting priorities and complex demands
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Troubleshoot issues and support special projects with tight deadlines
  • Serve as front desk reception backup as needed

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 4+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Senior Admin, or Executive Assistant (professional services preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); SAP and Concur a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-first mindset with strong stakeholder management, empathy, and critical thinking skills
