Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to provide administrative support for our growing construction and trucking company. The right person would exhibit independent judgement and the ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diverse work load.

Job duties will include:

  • Answering telephone and assisting callers
  • Support in special projects as needed
  • Basic filing and regularly updating multiple worksheets
  • Maintain and organize OSHA safety logs and insurance coverages for all company vehicles
  • Act as a point person for contract jobs which includes job costing, ensuring on-time submittal of necessary paperwork (ex. pay applications and insurance certificates), and following up with various internal and external contacts
  • Processing Timesheets
  • Entering Certified payroll in online systems , EBO, LCP Tracker, NYS DOL

Competencies and Experience:

2 years of experience in an administrative role (construction experience a plus)

Highly detail oriented and process driven

Fully proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks

Ability to work autonomously, balancing accuracy with timeliness

Capacity to problem solve, multi task and manage multiple projects

Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and the willingness to learn on the job

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
