Busy Property Management Company in Mishawaka, IN is looking for a part-time administrative assistant with good keyboarding and Microsoft Office software skills, as well as Internet research abilities and strong telephone communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative and office support
- Answer and make telephone calls
- Generating and handling traffic
- Data entry to existing software and excel spreadsheets
- Word processing, letter generation and follow up
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned by supervisor
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
- Above average verbal, math and writing skills.
- Fundamental understanding of sales techniques and public relations.
- A willingness to follow directions and work within a group environment; be a team player.
- Computer experience, including accurate skill in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A car, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required.
- Impeccable presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be organized, prepared and be able to overcome prospect’s objections.
- We expect you to provide an overall professional and positive environment for the residents of our apartment community.
- The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of previous administrative experience.
- This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
This position is part-time, but we do offer a flexible schedule. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Looking for someone who is eager and willing to learn!
