Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

Eastern Instruments, an engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, NC.

Full-Time - In Person

Qualifications

* Associate Degree preferred

* 2-5 years of administrative, customer service, ordering processing, or manufacturing office experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

* Experience with ERP, MRP, order-entry, inventory, or manufacturing software preferred

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

* Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or technical office environment is a plus.

This position works closely with the Sales, Engineering, Production, and Shipping teams to support daily business operations.

Responsibilities include:

* Order Entry of customers orders (Processing/Distribution/Facilitation) into ERP system

* Purchasing and Procurement of vendor purchase orders

* Assisting with customer and vendor communications via email and phone

* Data entry into customer and supplier management platforms

* Maintaining electronic files and documentation

* Supporting various administrative and office functions as assigned
