Administrative Assistant (In-Person, Mid-Level)
Location: Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park, MN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 11AM/12 PM–5/6 PM, with occasional weekend flexibility

We’re a small business in the home care industry, with additional creative side ventures. We’re looking for a reliable, proactive, and organized Admin Assistant to support our Director both professionally and personally, and help keep day-to-day business operations and projects running smoothly.

Position Overview
This is a mid-level role ideal for someone with at least 1–3 years of relevant experience. You’ll juggle business and personal tasks from managing schedules and communications to helping with errands, events, and even digital content creation. We’re not looking for perfection, but we are looking for someone dependable, quick-thinking, and growth-minded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Director's calendar, inbox, and task list
- Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on tasks and deadlines
- Draft emails, letters, and other business/personal correspondence
- Run errands including grocery shopping, dog daycare drop-offs, etc.
- Support pet care (walking dogs, vet visits, potty breaks, etc.)
- Assist with personal project support and logistics
- Coordinate travel and build itineraries
- Post/schedule content on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok using Canva or Meta
- Help create or appear in digital content (must be comfortable on camera)
- Bonus if you have a content creation background or enjoy making TikToks
- Assist with creating and maintaining SOPs, training docs, and internal systems
- Assist with onboarding or recruitment tasks as needed
- Support launches, events, and vendor/client coordination
- Other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a personal assistant, admin, or executive support role
- High attention to detail, this is key!
- Comfortable being on camera and assisting with content creation
- Tech-savvy and fast to learn new platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Loyal, discreet, and capable of working independently
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Dog-friendly and able to care for two small pups as part of daily tasks
Software & Tools We Use
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Canva
- Calendly/Ical
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Slack, Zoom
- Meta Business Suite, Later, or other scheduling tools
- TikTok + CapCut (for light video editing or content support)
- Bonus: ClickUp, Trello, or Notion etc
Requirements
- Must be local to the Twin Cities and able to commute to Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park, MN
- This is not a remote position: in-person presence is required
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and car insurance
- Available for occasional weekends/evenings (with advance notice)
- Willingness to commit to 2+ years in this role
- Completion of a 30-day trial period, followed by a probationary period
- Six-month performance review with opportunity for raise
