We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are an Optometric practice located inside a Costco.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, faxes and forms
- Collect fees
- Getting patient ready to see the Optometrist, which includes pretesting work-up
- Act as the point of contact for all patients
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Courtesy, integrity, and loyalty
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
