Work Schedule: Mon-Fri available from 7am-5pm

Job Summary:

Osceola Medical Center is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Entry-Level Administrative Assistant to support the Chief People Officer and Executive Director of Operations. This role is ideal for someone beginning their administrative career who enjoys helping teams stay organized, communicating with a variety of people, and contributing to a positive healthcare environment.

The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support, assist with scheduling and coordination, maintain confidential records, and help support departmental projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
  • Previous administrative, customer service, internship, or office experience preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief People Officer and Executive Director of Operations
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute follow-up information
  • Assist with organizing employee files, reports, and departmental documents
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, operational, and organizational information
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally
  • Assist with onboarding and employee engagement activities
  • Support special projects, events, and internal communications
  • Coordinate office supplies and maintain organized workspaces
  • Perform data entry and basic reporting tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support operational needs

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
  • Interest in healthcare administration, human resources, or operations
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
  • Excellent problem solver

Physical Requirements for the Role:

Sitting for long periods of time at desk, use of keyboard for much of role, manual dexterity required to manipulate small objects such as a keyboard, etc.
