Administrative Assistant / Dispatcher - Expert Traffic Control (Morning Shift – In Office)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support scheduling and dispatching operations. This is a fast-paced, team-focused role supporting field crews and daily job coordination.

Full Job Description:

We are a growing company looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is critical in helping schedule and dispatch jobs, support field teams, and keep communication flowing across departments.

This is a fast-paced position where accuracy, communication, and teamwork are essential. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and willing to step in and support wherever needed as the business continues to grow.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Morning shift (start time may vary based on business needs)
  • In-office position
  • Hours will vary based on workload (typically 30–40 hours per week, not guaranteed full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch jobs accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with field teams, supervisors, and internal departments
  • Ensure all jobs are properly staffed and covered
  • Monitor schedules and adjust as needed based on business demands
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and internal communication
  • Perform data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks
  • Assist with timesheet corrections and administrative follow-up
  • Support additional office tasks and special projects as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player attitude with a willingness to support multiple departments
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with the team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office systems
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn internal software
  • Experience in dispatching and scheduling is strongly preferred, especially within traffic control, construction, or similar field operations
  • Professional, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems at once (scheduling, communication, and tracking tools)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting at $20/hour+ (dependent on experience)

Additional Note:
This role supports active field operations. Reliability, flexibility, and strong communication are critical to success in this position.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
