Job Summary and Qualifications


As the Administrative Assistant in Executive Wellness, you will perform clerical support services such as data entry, filing, telephone triage, and interfacing with the public on departmental matters. You will also assist with scheduling of patients and contract staff, processing employee requests, and other duties as assigned.



  • You will perform clerical tasks with promptness and accuracy


  • You will prepare correspondence for mailing and compose written responses and materials


  • You will handle telephone and personal communications


  • You will assist with scheduling of patient tests and register patients upon arrival


  • You will create pre-appointment correspondence and paperwork for patient appointments


  • You will assume responsibility for the clerical end of maintaining office operations


  • You will maintain select database applications and assist in the set up and maintenance of department files


  • You will assist staff in understanding non-clinical hospital policies and procedures, as well as helping problem solve non-clinical hospital issues


  • You will assess and maintain departmental supplies and ensure that equipment and supplies are readily available and in working condition


  • You will provide communications to staff via email, memos, newsletters, etc.

  • You will coordinate services for Dietary, EVS, Massage Therapy, and Nutrition

Education


  • High school graduate or equivalent
