Columbia County is seeking a reliable and motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources Department on a limited-term basis. As part of the HR team, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by assisting with general, day-to-day administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling meetings and interviews, filing, and assisting with recruitment. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, effectively prioritize tasks, maintain a high level of attention to detail, uphold strict confidentiality, and show self-motivation. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). This is a temporary, full-time position scheduled for forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This position is expected to end on February 28, 2026. Hire Rate: $19.93 per hour, no additional benefits are included. Background check will be completed on qualified applicant. Application deadline is September 7, 2025.
