Greets and assists visitors in the Osher Center for Integrative Health. Schedules appointments, and completes outreach for patients who have been referred to wellness programs. Provides general office support and fulfills receptionist duties. Supplies all visitors with information about wellness offerings throughout the center.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

1. Receives, greets, and directs visitors to appropriate person or office.
2. Schedules appointments for patients.
3. Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers.
4. Manages shared email inboxes.
5. Answers questions about the organization and associated programs
6. Provide other administrative support as projects arise.

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Administrative Assistants, I: Requires little to no related experience.

Preferences
  • Passion for health and wellness
  • Bilingual (especially Spanish)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • University of Utah Health experience and/or healthcare experience (especially EPIC experience)
