Administrative Assistant, International Logistics

JOB SUMMARY

Add data and maintain data integrity in Sysco’s export shipping system (SUS – Export Module) – Create export A/F documents. Update and maintain data that is presented to inside customers. Administers procedures to ensure near zero nonconformance with carrier rates. Assure accurate and timely billing.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects, analyzes and maintains legal import documentation requirements by country in Caribbean, Central and South America.
  • CA/SA documentation – Create export documents / track and trace shipments.
  • A/F Logistics – Make decisions on air carrier to be used and book accordingly. Add data and maintain data integrity in Sysco’s export shipping system (SUS – Export Module) – Create export A/F documents - log shipments and track and trace shipments.
  • Assist Import and Foreign to Foreign department.
  • Assist Export Logistics as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • HS diploma (or equivalent) – 2yr of higher education preferred

Experience

  • 2 year of international documentation experience

Professional Skills

English (Spanish a plus), Proficient in all Microsoft products. Ability to multitask with extreme attention to detail.
