We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who shares our commitment to caring for others and will help keep our daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to leadership and clinical staff
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and respond to inquiries professionally
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies
- Assist with scheduling patient visits, clinician assignments, and care coordination
- Prepare and organize reports, documentation, and correspondence
- Support intake processes, including new patient referrals and insurance verification
- Assist with billing, payroll, and HR-related tasks as needed
- Ensure office supplies and equipment are maintained and ordered
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient daily operations

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in individual and group settings

- Advanced computer proficiency and experience with office systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and able to respond effectively to changing priorities
- Reliable team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries
- Consistent and dependable attendance
- Experience with authorization requests required
- Previous experience in a medical office or related setting preferred
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of staff and management
- Commitment to representing Tarlani Healthcare in a professional and respectful manner
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma required, associate's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years documented Administrative Assistant experience, strongly preferred. In healthcare, a plus.
- Moderate to advanced computer experience in a variety of mediums.
