Wage band: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour based on years of experience!

SUMMARY:
Active member of the community and assists the Executive Director and other managers with daily tasks and projects. Performs basic office duties as well as other responsibilities such as creating the monthly newsletter and performing reference checks.

b. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires the ability to establish and maintain a positive image and productive relationships with all affiliates of the community. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Organizational skills are essential. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required.
c. Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
d. Experience: Requires at least one year of related experience, preferably in the health care or service industry.
e. Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license in the state employed is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the basic functions of this position. 1. Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community.
2. As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
3. Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.
4. Act as a representative of the residence to the community.
5. Ensure all office supplies are stocked and place orders when items are running low.
6. Check Suggestion Boxes once a month and forward to appropriate manager.
7. Generate the monthly newsletter.
8. Take minutes at all resident meetings and councils.
9. Take minutes at weekly managers meeting.
10. Pick up, deliver and sort mail.
11. Cover the lunch shift at both receptionist desks.
12. Process incoming applications.
13. Perform reference checks.
14. Forward incoming faxes.
15. Stamp invoices and send to the appropriate manager.
16. Prepare weekly No Thank You letters.
17. Prepare memos, fliers and other notifications.
18. Check printer readouts for SymQuest.
19. Track and print out blank time studies.
20. Review and prepare Tier Level Update sheets.
21. File documents as needed.
22. Manage incident report binder.
23. Update phone directories as associates enter/exit the community.
24. Reserve Rooms for resident family gatherings.
25. Create yearly manager on duty schedule.
26. Renew Craigslist ads when requested.

27. Communicates effectively (both verbally and in writing) in English.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Good physical and mental health. Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment. Visual and auditory acuity. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs., and be able to carry objects. Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand. Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate. Must use good body mechanics. Should be neat and well groomed. Must be able to type and use a computer. Must project a positive attitude towards the service provided.
