Brown’s Shoe Fit Company seeks an administrative assistant/retail bookkeeper to support its Salina, Kansas location!! This role provides vital support to the store’s operation in the following areas:
* Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping and banking tasks
* Balancing store Checkbook using bank statements
* Checking off Credit Card Statements and Paysheets
* Preparing or posting invoices; managing factory billings
* Executing weekly payroll and associated recordkeeping and tax reporting duties
* Collecting and organizing office documents, including personnel records
* Creating and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Dependability in attendance
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and security of employee and Company records
* Proficiency with common word processing and spreadsheet software
* Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
* Sound decision-making skills
* Is an effective team player
* Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment
