General Job Description:
The HR Coordinator position provides a full range of administrative duties in support of the Front Office and HR department. Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies.
This position reports directly to the HR Director. Ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives programs, and practices.
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls
- Maintaining Recruitment Activity
- Assisting in filling consumer charts
- Assist with monthly insurance verification of all enrolled consumers
- Demonstrating initiative, discretion, and tact in managing emails, telephone calls and other requests.
- Ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete, and properly handled.
- Utilize computer and standard desktop software to complete tasks
- Assure administrative detail on all projects
- Provide regular updates on delegated tasks to ensure progress
- Screening applications for selected occupations for minimum qualifications on the basis of experience and educational requirements
- Assists in credential tracking for all licensed employees
- Data Entry
- Other duties as assigned
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintain human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting new hire orientation and training programs.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
- Prepare bi monthly payroll
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
- Track and maintain current spreadsheet of all license expiration dates and inform employee and immediate supervisor through written notification
- Create employment contracts/consulting agreements for all onboarding employees
- Issue photo identification for all onboarding employees
- Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in human resources, business administration or related field
- 3 years experience of human resource management principles and best practices in human resources
- Multi-tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external clients, and consumers
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
- Ability to coordinate schedules and schedule changes
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; is proactive, flexible and takes initiative.

- Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 am to 6 pm and every other Weekend (after the public health emergency is lifted)
Must have satisfactorily completed an FBI background check, Metropolitan Police clearance, Drug and health screenings
