JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistance & Resident Services Coordinator
STATUS: Full-Time
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
LOCATION: Blue Springs, MO & Lee's Summit, MO

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant/Resident Services Coordinator for an affordable townhome community in Blue Springs, Missouri and Resident Services Coordinator at affordable senior property in Lee's Summit, MO. In this role, you will support the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager by providing administrative support in the Management Office. This position also oversees Resident Relations for the Community by providing exceptional customer service, implementing resident events and programming, and overcoming resident concerns and requests to maintain positive relations between Management and Residents.
The successful candidate needs to be passionate about building relationships and making a difference with people.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ADMINISTRATIVE
· Answer and handle incoming phone calls from prospective new residents, current residents, vendor/suppliers, etc. and forward along to appropriate community staff member (Property Manager, Assistant Manager, etc.)
· Provide support to visitors and residents while demonstrating excellent customer service
· Accept resident Work Order requests and enter them into the software program, and route to maintenance for prompt processing
· Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of available community resources (employment, education, social service agencies, etc.) for residents.
LEASING
· Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times
· Greet prospective clients, show community, and perform leasing duties to ensure property is rented to fullest capacity
· Contribute ideas to manager for marketing community and improving resident satisfaction
SKILLS
· Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, required
· Ability to develop effective working partnerships with various types of community groups and institutions.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Demonstrated ability to establish trusting, confidential relationships.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Dependability and attendance
· Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with residents, employees, and vendors
· Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills, and follow up effectively with all staffing levels
· Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. Employee will be required to work at a desktop computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. The employee must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/ flexible hours and weekends, as needed. Employee will have the occasional need to perform the following activities: bend/squat, climb stairs, push/pull, reach above shoulder, pick up litter, filing, open/close doors, heavy walking, and moderate lifting. The employee will have the occasional need to lift/carry 20/25 lbs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
· Experience with customer service, preferred
