Administrative Business Partner, Google Maps, Geo Auto

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a high-tech or international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of administrative experience supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment, and managing small-scale projects and events from pre-planning to execution.
  • Experience interacting and coordinating with external partners.
  • Knowledge of process, project, and program management theory and practices, with the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use effective acumen with decision making.
  • Ability to build strong, productive relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to contribute and manage time efficiently in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.

The Geo Auto team is focused on delivering Google's mapping and navigation solutions to the automotive ecosystem, improving the driving experience for billions worldwide. The auto industry is rapidly changing with electrification, assisted driving, connected software, and rising user expectations.

As an Administrative Business Partner in Google Maps, you will manage your team's business operations and activities and will unlock productivity gains across the organization. You will anticipate the needs of your executives and help them stay focused on moving the business forward by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You will move quickly with the changing environment and will be up to date with the latest Google products and services. You will use that knowledge to support your team's programs, projects, and deliverables.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$138,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize internal and external programs and events and manage event logistics in collaboration with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Partner with the Geo Auto Director of Engineering and their leadership team as a trusted Administrative Business Partner to provide comprehensive business support.
  • Manage calendars, travel, expenses, events, and office activities, maintaining a flexible and solution-oriented approach when responding to shifting priorities.
  • Serve as a bridge between the leadership team and the Geo admin community to support organizational culture and share best practices.
  • Manage organization-wide administrative projects, such as space planning or cost tracking, to ensure the smooth operation of the organization.
