Our future Administrative Coordinator will possess the following qualifications and qualities –
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting firm or office management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, and Teams.
- Experience with QuickBooks, including data entry and basic accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
- Unwavering integrity, personal accountability, and respect for confidentiality.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to both teach and learn.

As a member of B.A. Harris, you will –
- Oversee front desk operations, supporting front-office staff to ensure consistent coverage and exceptional client service.
- Manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system, communicating clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital records, including financial documents, invoices, and other confidential information.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and handle basic office bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including AP and AR processes.
- AP: Process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and oversee weekly payment cycles.
- AR: Prepare and distribute client billings, post incoming payments, issue month-end statements, and monitor the Accounts Receivable Aging Report to ensure timely collections.
- Support team members with special projects, research, and client communications as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and openly communicate your goals and development needs.
- Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
