This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health– Inpatient Services, 220 Faison Drive, Columbia, SC 29203.
As the Administrative Coordinator II, working under limited supervision, the Psychiatric Inpatient Services Workforce Staffing and Competency Lead Coordinator will develop and manages the inpatient Primary Source Verification (PSV) operations to ensure compliance with policy, procedures and regulatory and accreditation requirements; to include the collection and central repository of employee primary source verification documentation for assigned Office of Mental Health (OMH) inpatient employees licensure, state board certifications, sanctions, registries, criminal background and other required checks which support annual employment screening of individuals assigned to the psychiatric inpatient care setting.
Responsibilities for the Administrative Coordinator II include:-
Responsible for the management of the Primary Source Verification (PSV) of inpatient services staff. Monitor and maintain a comprehensive system for tracking annual verifications of inpatient licensed and non-licensed OMH staff, ensuring compliance with renewal checks/licenses/certification regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements, and competencies. Provide timely reports and reminders to hospital leaderships and employees.

Responsible for the development and management of Primary Source Verification (PSV) Plan for inpatient services; to include integrated communications, standardized workflow processes, secure custody-chain methods, PSV checklist, and central repository for PSV documentation which meets the position description requirements for 1,200 OMH Inpatient FTE (FT, PT, Temporary, Supplemental) staff in coordination with OMH Credentialing, Inpatient Specialty Clinics for Employee Health Services and OMR Human Resources employment staff.

Responsible for maintaining a knowledge of OMH and Inpatient policy, state and federal regulations, and accreditation and licensure requirements, conducting ongoing audits on PSV and Field Folder documentation for assigned area(s) as appropriate for unannounced survey readiness and preparation for anticipated surveys.

Participate with the Inpatient Leadership survey process to include management of PSV and competency documentation request and survey review of inpatient & OMH PSV files and inpatient employee field folder evidence. Responsible for the preview and verification of all field folder documentation in the survey process for Department of Public Health, Joint Commission, and CARF.

Complete all assigned annual training.
