Administrative Intern - DHM

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Administrative Intern to support daily operations within our hospitality team. This internship provides hands-on experience in hotel/restaurant administration, HR support, and guest service coordination, offering valuable exposure to the fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to leadership and department managers
  • Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and report preparation
  • Support HR functions such as onboarding, employee file organization, and engagement activities
  • Help coordinate meetings, events, and team communications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Assist in tracking staffing levels, open positions, and hiring progress
  • Support guest service initiatives and help resolve basic inquiries when needed
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

  • Interest in hospitality operations, HR, or administration
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus (if applicable)
