Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Austin, TX (On-site, 5 days per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow in a legal or corporate environment. The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day support to attorneys and staff, ensuring smooth office operations, accurate billing, and efficient case management.
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including calendar management, scheduling, and correspondence.
· Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, letters, and reports.
· Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.
· Assist with filing transactional documents and managing deadlines.
· Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail in a professional and timely manner.
· Assist with billing and invoicing responsibilities, including time entry, expense tracking, and invoice preparation.
· Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and other logistics as needed.
· Perform other administrative tasks to support the legal team.
Qualifications:
· 1–2 years of administrative experience (legal setting preferred).
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
· Familiarity with billing or accounting software a plus.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Professionalism, discretion, and a team-oriented mindset.
Schedule & Work Environment:
· Full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday).
