The Human Services and Public Health (HSPH) department is seeking an Administrative Manager to help shape and drive the vision of county leadership. In this role, you’ll provide strategic planning, execution, and coordination across key initiatives in collaboration with Health and Human Services leaders.
Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Hennepin County Government Center, 300 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position you will:-
Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the Deputy County Administrator for Disparity Elimination and the Assistant County Administrators for the Health and Human Services lines of business, including but not limited to leading and managing projects, coordinating budget processes and board activities, and assisting with hiring and procurement plans.

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate leadership meetings and team development sessions.

Provide planning and leadership for all-manager and supervisors department meetings; assist in creating content for department communications.

Partner with directors and other leaders on initiatives and projects.

Collaborate with leadership to create content for budget presentations, large meetings, and SharePoint.

Coordinate human services receivable Board Action Requests (BAR) and work with staff to prepare materials for Assistant Count Administrator on potential questions and points of interest.
Need to have:-

Nine years or more of experience related to organizational operations, supporting high level initiatives and cross organizational collaborations.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, information technology, or other field appropriate to the position and five years of experience related to organizational operations, supporting high level initiatives and cross organizational collaborations.
