Job Title: Administrative Revenue Cycle Coordinator

Summary:

The Administrative & Revenue Cycle Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to assigned leadership and faculty, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and timely preparation of meeting materials and minutes. Responsibilities include processing faculty reimbursements, maintaining accurate departmental records, and managing official patient correspondence. The position also supports revenue cycle operations through patient account research, charge entry and corrections, identification of untimely accounts in accordance with organizational policies. The role maintains high billing and compliance standards aligned with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer guidelines, while using strong critical thinking skills to identify, escalate, and resolve issues to support efficient departmental operations.
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned leadership and faculty including managing calendars and coordinate scheduling across multiple stakeholders

Organize and support meetings, including preparation, logistics, and follow-up including preparing and distributing meeting minutes within established timelines

Process reimbursements and expense reports for assigned faculty in accordance with organizational policies

Maintain and update departmental files or assigned organizational structure and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility

Prepare and manage official correspondence and documentation to send to patients

Support departmental operations through effective organization, communication, and coordination

Responsible for patient account research in relation to working accounts within assigned work queues

Responsible for maintaining the highest level of billing standards following current guidelines from Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance entities

Completes charge entry responsibilities, processes charge correction files and appends necessary data

Escalate issues to the Director, Revenue Cycle Management as appropriate
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience:•And 7+ years administrative or healthcare related experience

Bachelor of Arts or Science
