The Administrative Secretary will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the Constable’s Office including clerical and administrative tasks such as preparing reports, tracking budget expenditures, processing civil/criminal paperwork, and interacting with the public and other departments.

- Prepares monthly and yearly civil and criminal reports as required by the State of Texas and the Tarrant County Auditor’s Office.
- Enters daily civil and criminal papers and financials, tracks budget expenditures, and processes purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Prepares and tracks incoming and outgoing correspondence and enters dispositions of completed paperwork.
- Monitors and logs money and prepares deposits for civil service fees and constable sales.
- Notifies attorneys and courts regarding service attempts and problems and reissues paperwork as necessary.
- Coordinates and distributes paperwork for deputies; ensures proper documentation and handling of sensitive records.
- Processes purchase requests, maintains inventory records and orders supplies as needed.
- Maintains department and supervisor calendar and schedules appointments or meetings.
- Greets and assists visitors in person or over the phone regarding document drop-off, service status, or general inquiries.
- Prepares documentation for court purposes and generates routine reports from departmental systems.
- Files and retrieves documents in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
