Under the direction of the Court Executive 2b (Operations Division Manager) and Court Executive 1b (Assistant Operations Division Manager) the selected individual will be responsible for duties including: evaluating and coordinating efficient use of interpreting services including reviewing vendor bid history for cost savings or award of contract; preparation and submission of payment vouchers; compiling records or other written materials; communicating and establishing working relationships with Judges, internal personnel, management, Sheriff's Department, and outside agencies; negotiating with vendors; maintaining subject matter expertise on courtroom technology; maintaining and creating standard operating procedures; compiling statistical data on work volume and unit expenditures; maintaining record keeping/tracking systems; preparing reports and proposals; developing manuals and guides; and arranging
training for Vicinage staff as needed. The selected individual will be responsible for providing guidance to other division staff on technical matters and equipment; recommending improvements in operating procedures, programs, standards, work processes, or administrative practices; establishing and/or maintaining record keeping and/or tracking systems; suggesting improvements in work unit operation; and performing other administrative and operational duties as assigned. The selected candidate will also have responsibilities coordinating transcript/audio requests; providing logistical coordination and support for jury trials and special court events; providing facilities support services; providing general administrative support across the division; and fostering a positive teamwork environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
