Kinesiology and Health is seeking (1) dedicated and experienced Administrative Specialist I.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Specialist I are the following:

  • Processing graduate assistant and part-time instructors; Oversees personal data packets for all new part-time instructors.

  • Processing payment reimbursements and travel for faculty and graduate research assistants.

  • Argos reporting-Runs a graduate assistantship status check to assure the students meet registration requirements.


  • Assists with the sponsored budget oversight for the Kinesiology and Health Graduate Assistant off-site contracts and stipend expenses; serves as the liaison in the occasional absence of the business manager with the Office of Sponsored Projects.

  • Serve as the backup administrative staff for the front desk.

  • Assist the business manager as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of administrative experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Hiring Requirements:

  • Experience with Banner, PTI hiring process and PPGRA processes.
