Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Administrative/Property Manager Assistant to support our property management team in delivering exceptional service and efficient operations. Duties
- Assist with lease administration, including data entry into property management software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Fair Housing regulations requirements
- Support tenant screening processes, lease renewals, rent collection, and Section 8 program administration
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilitate communication between tenants, vendors, and maintenance teams
- Manage legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, lease contracts, and eviction procedures while maintaining thorough filing systems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in conflict management by mediating tenant concerns and escalating issues as needed to the property manager
- Support leasing activities through upselling available units, conducting tours, and maintaining positive tenant relationships
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related documents, including contracts, inspections, filings, and correspondence
- Contribute to facilities management efforts by tracking property upkeep needs and assisting with vendor coordination
Experience
- Prior experience in real estate administrative support or property management is highly preferred
- Familiarity with property management software is advantageous
- Experience handling legal administrative tasks related to leases, contracts, or evictions is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette background
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in an office environment
- Demonstrated conflict management skills along with negotiation experience for lease agreements or tenant issues
- Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, contract management, and facilities coordination is desirable
